L'expression du samedi!

Aller droit au cœur (literally: to go straight to one's heart) It's an expression used to say that you're touched by somebody's words or actions. For example: Mary, your neighbor, drops by to say hi and make sure everything is okay. She asks you if you need help with anything since you just had surgery. You can tell her:

"Oh merci Mary! C'est très gentil. Ça me va droit au cœur."
