"Sauter (ou passer) du coq à l'âne" (littéralement "jump from the rooster to the donkey") est l'expression d'aujourd'hui! Quand vous parlez avec quelqu'un et changez subitement de sujet, sans prévenir, vous passez du coq à l'âne. 🤔

You are jumping from the rooster to the donkey when you are talking with someone and all of a sudden, you change the subject of the conversation and start talking about something completely unrelated.

Ex: "Mon travail? Oui, ça va merci. Les collègues sont très sympas...la chef aussi. Ah au fait, excuse-moi, je passe du coq à l'âne, mais, la robe..tu sais celle que j'ai achetée l'autre jour? eh bien elle a rétréci au lavage!
